Happy New Year

Happy New Year friends!!!!! 

So many things to be happy for that's for sure...Are you wit me on that? Yes Kim, I meant to type "wit" I didn't spell it wrong...Ha! She's got my back so I don't look like a dummy...Ha! But, she can't keep up...Ha! I'm on a roll...

Anyway, I didn't have time, YET,  to explore something different with my camera and so this is what I came up with...Fire? Why? Because I am, for JESUS...This year, my goal is to not have the burn for my love for Him die out! So many trials this past year and SOOOO, much growth...I am thankful...

Today I started school back up with the boys...Last year, I was a JIRK because we had SO many distractions I couldn't get a good school day for nuthin (I know, Kim the spelling) I was so frustrated that I took it out on my boys and everyone else around me...So this year is prayerfully going to be different...I'm embracing the distractions, loving the distractions, kissing the distractions, spending time with the distractions and savoring the distractions...Because let's face it, they're the people in my life that I love the most and the people in my life that need me the most...

My BFF's husband Vlado..(but, say it with a Czech accent-that's where he's from) Kinda like, VVllaaddoooo, ha, ha, ha (dracula-sounding) LOL...Anyway, I was saying, Vlado was telling me about a sermon at church he just came from and shared a part of it with me...I know the LORD had him tell me for this reason...Vlado said," When JESUS was on this earth, His mission was to save us sinners, and He went from town to town, land to land, home to home to tell people and love on people...Most times He was in the middle of this awesome sermon and someone was in need and HE was distracted from what HE was doing and had to go take care of it...Interesting, huh?  I bet JESUS didn't have my attitude when HE was distracted...He went willingly, lovingly, and happily to tend to the need at hand...

I pray I can do that this year and all the years to come...It's all irrelevant because it's all about HIM!!! That's been my theme for the past month "It's all irrelevant"...

Do something different as to your walk with CHRIST...Step out of the box this year and be used for HIS Glory! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
