The Best of 2012

So long 2012!

My husband just told me 2012 was the most catastrophic year in history! Most people would freak out by the sound of that, but me, I PRAISE JESUS!!!!! It's just a sign of the end of times to come...

Read it for yourselves it's not surprise...The Bible clearly says:

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come....Matthew 24:6

There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven...Luke 21:11

Don't fret, there is nothing to be afraid of only rejoicing in knowing our LORD JESUS is coming and taking us HOME!!! Are you ready? I sure am!

Anyway, I thought it was appropriate to post my favorite pictures of the year because this is what blessings are to me; family, friends and God's creation! No matter what is going on in the world, the LORD has it all under control...Embrace your life and loved ones and most of all, live for JESUS in all you do!

366:364-366

I guess it's not my last post for my 365 project...

Remember I mentioned I took pictures of my friends' familes?  Here is another amazing family...Each one unique yet all of them are so sweet! It was difficult because my awesome friend is not the type that likes the standard family pose...She wanted it to be creative, yet chaotic, yet natural, yet fun, yet I'm not any of those things, yet! You know what I'm talking about...Those amazing family portraits were the shot is just perfect yet it's not so "set-up"....Well, this is what I ended up with...I'm scheduling myself to get this shot for her not matter how long it takes...Dang, I pray they can put up with me...I need to get better!

Wow, I can't believe the end of the year is here already...Well, as far as my 365 Project, this will be my last post for the year 2012...I'm not quite sure what I am going to do for next year, but it will be something...What I've been doing lately are family portraits...

This family here is awesome! All the husband wanted to do was "make out" with his wife...LOL...He's a crack up even when his boys didn't want to cooperate...I love the family photo posted because really this is everyone's personality...My sweet friend just went along with her husband always wanting to make out in every photo, their daughter on the left was like, "come on", their daughter to the right always sweet and smiling and then, the boys! Well, they speak for themselves...Still so sweet...Love you guys!

Haven't posted for a while....AGAIN! My BFF sometimes asks me if I have a blog...Ha! Trying to get better at posting ...Maybe someone can give me tips on how to post daily! Anyway, I just wanted to share my family photo for this awesome Christmas season...I took them myself...I think they are pretty good for someone who doesn't know what they are doing...Ha!

Then I went ahead and took my boys' school pictures for the year...Funny thing, I took so many in different spots and soon as I took these 2 of my boys I knew it was the shot...So stinking handsome!

BOKEH Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of these are SOOC, I promise....KIM!!! I went outside tonight with my tripod to practice some nighttime shots...This is what I got...I came inside trying to focus on an object and get the bokeh in the background, and this is what I got...The problem I am having is outside...I couldn't focus on an object like my inside picture and get the bokeh in the background...The outside pictures I took in manual and manual focus...The only reason the outside pictures look decent is because it's just bokeh and not an object with bokeh in the background....Make sense?  Suggestions?

I'm going to do some night time pictures with my girl Carrie (She is not a new friend-I've known her for years...She rocks!!) on Wednesday night so we need some tips...Well I do...Ha!
