Project 52-2013 (Week 8)

I'm glad I have accountability...I'm in another challenge on Facebook that keeps me accountable to getting my camera out...Life is busy for me lately, but my boys never make it a dull moment...You think he likes grapes...He was asking me to feed it to him like that...I did of course, but then grabbed my camera for him to do it...He's my goofball...Just like his awesome dad!!

Project 52-2013 (Week 7)

I'm so thankful I have this weekly project to be committed to....I so tried to get pictures up during the week, but found myself not able to sit and just do it!  Anyway, as promised here are some more photos from our trip last week to Utah with that awesome family I told you about...I didn't take any of these except for the Beauty standing pretty by herself...I put a little twist on the edit to make it more "wintery"...    I only used my girl Carries photos because she was able to take shots of my boys sledding, AND of course, her daughter took the photo of Carrie and I with our big girl pants going down the hill...Hahaha...When I think of it I crack up again!

Project 52-2013 (Week 6)

Brrrrrrr, a little cold I might say...You would think I was living back on the east coast with my peeps with all that snow...BUT, I was not...I was on the west coast with my peeps in Utah...HA! My sweet, dear, friend Carrie and her family invited us to their cabin...It was soooo beautiful...I haven't been in that much snow in a long time...Actually since living in New York!

I could remember, (silly me) thinking the train comes in 10 minutes, I'll just jump in my car and be there in 5...I'd walk outside to my car with  inches of snow all over, wipe the driver's side window, and take off...What a dummy! Here I am speeding like a maniac trying to get the train before it takes off...Oh, and not in any kind of snow boots I might add...I made it most of the time...After 50 minutes on the train, I rush off with a million other people, and walk to the subway to catch the 2 & 3 train downtown, hop on hoping to get a seat but don't...I say on my ride for 20 minutes get off at Fulton St. (I believe), and walk a few blocks to my building...Up the elevator to the 22nd floor (i think) and get to my desk with a sigh of relief that I made it...Boy, I could have use those pretty green boots for my travels...I LOVED working in Manhattan...

Anyway, back to my fab time in Utah with my fab friend...It was amazing how much snow there was and that the temp was 15 degrees, yet we were outside loving every minute of it...It didn't feel cold at all...Especially, when Carrie and I put our big girl pants on, handed our cameras over to the kids, had someone hold my Little Lovely, grabbed a sled, and then down the hill we went!!!! It was so much fun I almost peed my pants laughing all the way down...I'm actually laughing as I type this hearing myself yell for my friend because here she is going down this steep hill, BACKWARDS!!! Hahahah!

Project 52-2013 (Week 5)

Wish I could show more pictures of my Little Lovely...We went to Pahrump, NV on Saturday for an airsoft war with the homeschool group...On 5 acres of property!!!! Total blast...Well, this 16 month old went from one end to the other, loving every minute of it...And, so did I...I remember when my boys were that young and we would go to a social gathering, I use to think in my head, I just want to sit and relax with the other moms and not have to run around after them...I always trying to find ways to make it "easy" for myself to be able to do so, but it never worked out that way and left me frustrated...

Well, I soon found out what is "easier"...I may not have tomorrow to run after them...My dear sweet friend Ann and I had some awesome fellowship the other night and shared that with me...Every time I think about it (especially after I yell at my kids) It turns my stomach...I'm glad she shared that with me, it has made me a much happier mommy...I love you Ann!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your an amazing Mudda!!
